The arresting officer spot him, then got him.
Nehemiah Harden better known as Florida rapper “SpotemGottem” was arrested after a brief chase on a jet ski in Florida. Police spotted him recklessly operating his jet ski near an anchored boat and attempted to issue a citation when the rapper fled trying to outrun the police on his jet ski.
You might know the name SpotemGottem from his 2021 song ‘Beat Box’ which reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, or from getting shot and nearly killed in a shooting in Miami last year.
According to the arrest report he was arrested for “wanton disregard for the safety of persons and property (boats) at a speed or in a manner as to endanger himself or others.”
The rapper is being charged with eluding a law enforcement officer and reckless operation of a jet ski.
