As Hurricane Ian approached Florida on September 28th, 2022 the waters of Tampa Bay went almost completely dry as shown in this video.

Water receding is typical of strong hurricanes, tsunamis, and typhoons and residents in communities near areas prone to these natural events are trained to evacuate if the sea recedes dramatically like this.
Who stayed behind to take this video? Not really sure, but we hope they are safe.
