With rising flood waters in Florida a man realized his home, which was in the last possible flood zone cateogry, was about to get flooded and decided it was time to evacuate. He packed up supplies and took off in his Tesla Model X (SUV) and recorded a POV video of the event.

The man who made the video, Jeremy Judkins, is seen driving his Tesla Model X Plaid through moderately high flood waters passing by airboats and other vehicles on his way to a dryer roadway, though as one Twitter user pointed out the water wasn’t too high for large pickup trucks to drive through that he was also passing in most of the video. That of course doesn’t mean that Jeremy didn’t drive through flood waters that were high enough to justify using the “boat mode” of the Tesla Model X Plaid.
